This is a love poem to myself that I wrote at the beginning of 2019 for Valentine’s Day.
The concept of loving myself never really came natural to me to be honest.
Throughout my time traveling in Brazil, I learned how cultivating a better relationship with myself was a major key to improving my relationship with the world around me, my family, and of course the Wolfpack that I’ve been cultivating.
My spiritual journey has been deeply aligned with my own self love journey.
As I’ve learned to love and accept who I am (especially my own shadow), I’ve felt a richer experience of each moment and many amazing friendships with people from across the world have resulted from learning how to truly embrace my authentic self.
The self love journey has been one of the most rewarding paths that I’ve taken, and I always encourage those around me to explore ways they can love themselves on a deeper level through taking care of their health and just expressing themselves fully.
This is kind of where the expression “HOWL YOUR TRUTH” comes from.
First of all, howling out loud like a wild wolf is a vulnerable thing to do. It’s scary. Our internal judge doesn’t want us to stand out and be labeled as “weird.”
However, if you suppress that “weird” version of you, you’re suppressing deep parts of your soul. YOUR TRUTH.
So this poem and these thoughts that I’m sharing are a metaphorical howl to the world, and I hope you enjoy!
My dream is to be able to reunite by a fire and give a big HOWL with you one day!!

There’s something on my mind
That I have to say.
It’s connected to this
Valentine’s Day
Be the love you always seek
Embrace yourself
You are unique
In the past year
I started to see
The importance
Of focusing on ME
I love myself.
I know it’s true.
I love myself.
Oh yes, I DO.
